We had an amazing stay at De Zeekoe Guest Farm! The value for money was great, and our room had lovely views of the distant mountains. The staff were exceptionally friendly and helpful throughout our stay.
The hotel breakfast menu could use some improvement, but overall it was still decent.

Superbly comfortable accommodation, good food and very pleasant staff. Fantastic value for money. As good as anything I have stayed at in South Africa.

Had a meerkat adventure, saw the "shy 5", and even survived the ABSA KKNK. So much to do, whether you're adventurous or just want to chill.
Was disappointed that they didn't have cushions for the pool lounges and the dinner needed a bit of an uplift.

We had a wonderful time at De Zeekoe Guest Farm Villa. the pool was nice, there were towels provided and always water available to drink. the massage services were excellent and the staff was mostly friendly and helpful. the breakfast was okay, and we really enjoyed the Meerkat Tour, even though it was a bit pricey and a 15-minute drive from the hotel. the overall beauty of the place and the lovely facilities made our stay memorable. Our bedroom was beautifully decorated with high ceilings and wooden beams, and the bed was comfortable. the ensuite was spacious and the views from the balcony were peaceful. the location, although a drive from town, was perfect for us, as we enjoyed staying on the property during our stay. We even had the opportunity to go stargazing organized by the hotel, in addition to sitting around the outdoor campfire in the evenings. the food was nice and all the staff were very friendly. Cons: Nothing that I didn't like. 🤷♀️.

I had a wonderful stay at this guest farm. The location was stunning, surrounded by the African wilderness. The stone cottages were beautifully designed and offered full privacy. The beds were large and comfortable, with mosquito netting for added comfort. The cottages also had their own pool, which was a great bonus. The meerkat tour was a highlight, as we were lucky enough to see a whole family of meerkats interacting with each other. The breakfast at the main hotel was delicious and the staff were friendly and accommodating.
The organization of the meerkat tour could have been better, as there seemed to be a lack of consistency in how guests were placed on the cancellation list.

In the middle of nowhere ... Food in the restaurant was not spectacular.

Stayed here for 2 nights and had a great time exploring the area. The highlight was definitely the Meerkat tour, a unique experience! The room had a fantastic view, a cozy fireplace, and a lovely terrace for enjoying your morning coffee. The staff was attentive and the food, especially their Ostrich dish, was delicious. a memorable stay!
We stayed in one of the cabins which had a lot of creepy crawlies outside, not ideal if you're not a fan of bugs. , the cabin was a bit far from the main hotel, about a 2km drive, which was a bit inconvenient.

the quiet rural setting, breakfast, chance to see the ostriches and meerkats. Nice breakfast with wonderful views.
too many "don't do this" and "don't do that" Don't take the sewing kit or lotion, putting a price on everything that you will be charged for if you do. Fist time I have ever encountered this anywhere. Had asked to be booked on meerkat tour weeks prior. Was not until i arrived and then it was not confirmed to me. Had to chase down the girl at front desk the night before. Disapointed by this lack of service. Also told by her to park blocks from the restaurant when in fact there was parking in front..
Tourists from South Africa often stay at these properties. Ideas for your future trips.
